Here is an interview with Karrine "Superhead" Steffans. Karrine has been the subject of controversy lately, after there were reports that her relationship is on the rocks due to physical abuse. She was also featured on the Wendy Williams Experience, with Wendy telling Karrine that she will never be able to find real love because she is known as "Superhead".
Given that Karrine really doesn't do much of anything that millions of other women don't already do, does that make her a dirty woman or a woman who is simply liberated with her sexuality? Perhaps the fact that Karrine, who is known (to be honest) as a "superhoe" respects herself as a great mother, good cook and wonderful lover, perhaps this implies that we are the ones who are rigid and need to rethink our perception of sexuality.
I am not sure how to process all of this, but I can say that given that there are a lot of superheads who let it loose behind closed doors, perhaps we should not just Karrine as harshly as we have in the past. At the very least, even a woman named "Superhead" doesn't deserve to be beaten by her boyfriend.

I don't think Karrine should be disrespected. She is still a human being. Some of the main ones talking dirty about her, have had just as many sexual experiences, if not more.
I don't think that Superhead is a bad person either. But then again, I guess me calling her that name is bad, but she doesn't seem to mind it. I do agree with aim above that most women are just as freaky, if not more so, in their own bedrooms.

I think that Corrine should be respected because she is real about herself. She knows what she likes and she expresses it well. I myself have a healthy sexual appetite and am not afraid to exress it. I don't think that it makes her any less of a woman for it in fact it makes her a better person for embracing it.
We all our missing the point. There is something to bo learn about the philosopy of men. Karrine's argument is that she is acting out the concept of sexuality. However, the very men use seduces are are the ones that have constructed the system in such a way that she will be viewed negetive. Think about it? If men really didnt care about how sexual she was, why do they leave. Yes, that enjoy her goodies but that look for companion elsewhere. See, men have set the system so that women do not cheat and are not Promiscuous . Historically, men mapped the trail so that it would look immoral for women to cheat, or for women to have many partners. Also, that is why the same actions are not views as bad when men do it. You see men created that set of thinking and woman, desring a man, accepted the fate.Woman, the one with the negative feedback about her, has accepted their fate to man and critizess her for her wrong doing. Karrine mistakes was exposing her past to the world, and wanting to be accepted by all. It was one thing to do it and nobody know but another for her to tell the world. Now every man she gets will know her past and judge her. Is it fair, no, but when men created the sexual contact they place women in this slot with this roll. What has occurred is that she has pleased, the very ones that have placed her actions at the very bottom of lows. Whats more applauding is that she continues to please them and they laugh with her and not explain the philosophy of men.
Personally, do anybody really care what this woman has done and has written? I mean, why is she always the topic of negative conversation? I've read both of her books and I think she's a strong black woman regardless of what she did. People really have alot of nerve passing judgment on this lady when they themselves have probably done worse than what Karrine has brought to light. You would think with her writing such a book that people would see it as an eye opener but I'm guessing alot of you out there aren't mature enough to see the books for what they are. I'm not saying that she didn't have a choice in any of these matters, but it is what it is. I respect her for laying it all out on the table like that because I'm more than sure that half of the idiots out here talking about her and calling her names don't have 1/4 of her courage to stand up for what they think is right. Karrine, just know that there are people out there like myself that don't think you're a bad person. The people that are disrespecting you are small minded and should be ignored. I don't give a damn if you slept with every singer, rapper, actor, whoever. Those men in your past had a choice and they chose to get down with you, and shower you with money and gifts knowing full well that they had a family at home. If they didn't want their dirt to come back and bite them in the ass, they should've chosen to go home. That's how I feel about that.
